Dragon Products

Dragon Products manufactures and supplies energy and industrial equipment from Beaumont, Texas, and has been in operation since 1963. Product lines span pumps and stimulation, production equipment, tanks and transports, drilling rigs and power generation. The company states it has built more than 1 million units in over 60 years, that its equipment is American-made, and that service support is available around the clock.

Pumps, stimulation and fluid handling

Stimulation and fluid handling equipment includes mobile frac pumps, cementer mixer and pumping trucks, mobile blending units, hydration units, water transfer pumps and well service skid pumps. Named units include the DP2500, the DP4000Q dual fuel, the Twin Pumper and an E-Frac unit, alongside mobile and skid mount cementers.

Water transfer pumps run from a 49 HP Kubota Redi-Prime up to a 600 HP Redi-Prime, with 80 HP CAT and John Deere models, vacuum prime units and a municipal bypass pump in between. Well service skid pumps are offered at 600 HP and 1000 HP, and stackable road crossing units are also listed.

Tanks, transports and containers

The tanks and transports line covers frac tanks, crude haulers, vacuum trailers, dump trailers, roll-off containers and roll-off trailers. Frac tanks and industrial storage tanks are built at 500 BBL in smooth wall round bottom, smooth wall V-bottom, corrugated V-bottom and heavy duty builds, with mini tanks in the 8,400 to 10,000 gallon range. Bob tail trailers run from 70 BBL to 130 BBL in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and low center of gravity builds, and vacuum trailers from 107 BBL to a 193 BBL four-axle unit.

Production equipment

Production equipment is manufactured at the company's US facilities and covers surface package components. Agriculture, construction, manufacturing and energy are named as the sectors served. The catalog includes:

• API 12F and 14th Edition production tanks, plus 400 BBL upright skid-mounted flow-back tanks
• Heater treaters, vertical and horizontal separators, and dehydration units
• LPG and NGL storage vessels, standard and skidded

• Line heaters, instrument air skids and stainless steel piping
• A 10,000 PSI cyclonic sand trap, 24 inches by 90 inches

Rigs and power generation

Rigs are supplied under the Cooper name, covering the SP300, SP400, SP550 and SP600 models plus the TR1000. Power generation covers natural gas generators including the Dragon 400KW, PowerGR26M and PowerGT43M, which the company describes as suited to oilfield and microgrid applications.

Brands, parts and service

Genuine Vantage parts and OEM Ranco parts are stocked, with service coverage the company describes as nationwide. A refurbishing operation tests, services, repairs and rebuilds frac fleet equipment, from power end rebuilds on frac pumps to discharge pump changes on blenders, with diagnostics run on positive displacement pumps, blenders and hydration units.
