Oilfield Pros ("we", "us") operates the business directory at www.oilfieldpros.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Listing information

When you submit or edit a company listing, we collect the business details you provide: company name, description, phone, email, website, address, and the categories, regions, equipment, and services you select. Published business details appear publicly in the directory.

Contact information

We also collect the name, email address, and position of the person submitting or managing a listing. This contact information is used only to verify submissions, review edits, and communicate about the listing. It is never displayed publicly and is never sold or shared with third parties.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address. Every subscription requires confirmation by email (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We do not run advertising or sell visitor data.

Email links instead of passwords

We do not store account passwords. Listing owners manage their listings through single-use links sent to the contact email on file. These links expire and can only be used once.

Cookies and advertising

We use a session cookie where needed for forms and listing management, and Google Analytics cookies for aggregate usage measurement.

This site also shows advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Data retention and removal

Listing data remains published until the business or an administrator removes it. To remove a listing or any personal information, email us from the contact address on file and we will take it down.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Internal contact information is stored separately from public listing data and is accessible only to site administrators.
