HC Howell Company

H.C. Howell Company manufactures, services, and supplies brake bands and related components for oil and gas drilling equipment. Based in Odessa, Texas, the family business has more than three decades of experience and produces brake bands for major manufacturers of drilling equipment, both for current and out-of-production machines. The company handles the full manufacturing process in house, from machining, drilling, rolling, and welding to certified magnaflux inspection, sand blasting, and painting, and it will design customized brake bands from client specifications using its own CAD drawings. In addition to new brakes, H.C. Howell remanufactures and services brake bands, and supplies rims, pins, bolts, and other application components.
