Lewis Manufacturing Co. has produced cable and conduit installation products since 1936. The company is best known for its wire mesh pulling grips, also called wire rope snakes, and also makes suspension grips, ball bearing swivels, canvas products, safety harnesses and lanyards, and steel targets. Its grips serve as replacements for Kellems, Slingco, and other brands' wire mesh grips.
The fourth-generation family-owned company is headquartered at 3601 S. Byers Ave. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and supplies oilfield, industrial, and utility customers.
