Martin Water Laboratories, Inc. is an independent analytical laboratory in Midland, Texas, serving the Permian Basin and surrounding areas since 1953. Its main area of expertise is testing, evaluation, and consultation for oilfield waters, including fresh, produced, injection, recycled, and frack water, along with crude oil, scale and solids, corrosion, and bacteria analysis. The lab also provides field services and representative sampling, water compatibility studies, residential water testing, and training courses on production chemicals. It is led by chemist Bryan Ogden and holds one of the largest original formation water records in the Permian Basin dating back to 1950.
