History

Precision Flow began in 1981 as a side venture making reconditioned Barton recorders and orifice plates, along with service work on Barton recorders. From the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s it remanufactured fittings from other local brands, including Daniel, and manufactured ITT Barton MOF fittings as what it describes as that company's preferred shop for several years.

It started manufacturing its own fittings in the mid-1990s, beginning with 2-inch single and dual chamber fittings made from carbon billet stock, then drafted new models and expanded the line from there. The business has always been located in Odessa and remains privately held, having never been publicly owned.
