US Fleet Tracking supplies GPS tracking hardware and fleet management software for commercial vehicle and asset fleets. The range covers hardwired and OBD-II GPS trackers, dash cameras, voice devices and tracking accessories, all reporting into a web and mobile dashboard. The company states that hundreds of thousands of businesses have tracked vehicles and assets with its services.

Devices run on a monthly service plan, and position update intervals depend on the plan selected, with five second and ten second updates offered on cellular hardware. Trackers can be activated online rather than through a service call.

Tracking devices

Hardware is branded USFT and spans hardwired units for permanent fleet installs, an OBD-II unit that plugs into the vehicle port, and plug-in camera devices.

The TF-V4 is a hardwired vehicle tracker positioned for driver behavior monitoring, flagging aggressive acceleration, turning, braking, speeding and crash events. The AT-V4+ is a 4G/LTE Cat-M1 compliant unit built for high-volume commercial fleet oversight where live asset location is the main requirement, with geofencing, real-time alerts and long battery life. The AT-V4 Pro is hardwired with battery backup and a weather-resistant housing, and the AT-V3 Pro uses a rugged water-resistant housing with solid state circuitry.

Dash cameras

The IZON Pro is a 2-in-1 video and telematics device with an Automatic Driver Assist System (ADAS). It pairs a road-facing HD camera having cloud access with a driver-facing camera using AI-powered detection, issues audible alerts for events and audio, and stores more than 50 hours of HD footage. The IZON Base records road video and telematics data with the same plug-and-play install and ADAS safety features.

Software and reporting

Tracking data feeds a live dashboard covering geofencing, alerts when an asset enters or exits a zone, activity replay for verification or audit, and integrated live traffic. Reports can be scheduled and customized, and include:

• Aggressive driving, from quick stops and accelerations measured against speed
• Start and stop detail for every asset movement
• Excessive idling, logged whenever a vehicle is on and not moving
• Speeding incidents against a set speed
• Device mileage for a chosen time period
• Device mileage broken down state by state
• Device input activity, each time a tracker input trigger fires
• Geofence entry, exit and proximity events

An iOS app provides tracking from an iPhone with no additional hardware, at user-configurable intervals of 10 seconds, 1 minute or 3 minutes. ServApp, a software suite from USFT Technologies, adds dispatching, invoicing and customer service functions and requires no installation.
