Val-Tex manufactures and distributes valve maintenance products, including lube sealants, valve flush, lubrication and injection equipment, and fittings and adapters. Founded in 1962 as a valve repair and modification shop, the company shifted to focus solely on valve maintenance products in 1974 and now serves the oil and gas storage, pipeline, and gas distribution markets. Its products help maintain valve performance and safety and reduce fugitive valve emissions, and include lube sealants such as 972 and 80-HM used in high-pressure fracking and flowback service, plus the Quick Stick and Viper high-pressure injection guns. Val-Tex is part of the Pipeline Industrial Material Group and provides technical support and training to valve manufacturers and operators.
